Dancer/performer, Teacher, Aspiring Choreographer

Nicole ‘Neolove’ Nyemi-Tei is an extremely passionate and versatile dancer/performer, dance teacher and aspiring choreographer with over a decade of experience combined. Nicole started her dance journey in the year 2000 as a child with the internationally renowned Olivier award winning Hip Hop Dance company, Boy Blue Entertainment. She has trained in multiple dance styles including Hip Hop, Popping, Locking, House, Waacking and Afrobeats. Picked out of 100+ candidates, Nicole gained a place at a young age to train at the prestigious London Contemporary Dance School at the Place, training in Contemporary and Ballet from 2005-2009. During her time there she built a strong technical foundation and understanding of her body in which she carries on through her dance journey.

She loves to perform onstage and has danced at grass roots events in East London to many remarkable dance establishments in London and also in Manchester. Nicole thrives in versatility and has performed in many shows with Boy Blue Entertainment one being the Hip Hop theatre production the 'Pied Piper', to the London 2012 Olympics, to live stage performance with Jazz Funk on 'The Voice' and to a more theatrical Contemporary Modern dance performance at the English National Opera in the production called Salome. In addition to this she has performed with Uchenna fo rthe Head wrap diaries extract with firece Afro fusion movement and dynamic Hip Hop and Circus performance with Far From the Norm. She also loves to own her uniqueness behind the camera and has worked with some amazing brands including Gucci, Adidas and ASOS and Land Rover showcasing her versatility as a performer through choreography, directed movement and freestyle.

Nicole is a passionate dance teacher driven to educate, inspire and enthuse students, whilst embracing people of different ages, backgrounds and cultures. She broke her first International barrier in 2018 by becoming one of three professionals to teach dance abroad. This was for the first newly established and one of a kind fully devoted Dance & Aerial arts Studio in Doha, Qatar called Brava Studio for nearly 3 years from which she has recently come back from. The styles she taught included Hip Hop, Popping, Locking, Waacking, Afro Dance, Contemporary and Heels from ages 5 to 50+. There she embedded in students high standards, dedication and resilience with fun and care to get the best out of them.

Nicole has a passion for choreographing and has made her own solo and group choreographies for Boy Blue Youth groups, end of course performances in schools around London, Brava Studio in Qatar and personal creations showcased online. She’s already had her hands in a local theatre production by Ashley J named ‘Fives A crowd’ and a music video for Aisha & Gims in Doha. She aspires to go further to work with artists, establishments and brands worldwide and create life changing productions that bring meaningful ideas to life.
